A New Years Message from your President We have just returned home from a fantastic New Year rally at the De Montfort School, Evesham. On Saturday we played bingo and Carole won £75 then we played open the box. On Sunday there was a full English breakfast cooked by the stewards. Tea, coffee, soup & toast were on offer all day. We were entertained by a great band the Reggaelators with the dance floor full all night. On Monday, there was another cooked breakfast and all-day refreshments. On the night we played Wacky Races and won some more money. Then the Four Seasons, a Frankie Valli tribute band who were absolutely fantastic. On Tuesday there was breakfast again, with refreshments. During the afternoon we were treated to cakes cooked by the kids which were lovely. We then decorated the tables and we then had a casino night. I had luck on my side as I won the most, while we were playing, Emily Abbiss entertained us with some great songs. After the break Emily done a fantastic job of getting everyone on the dance floor to see in the new year. On Wednesday we had coffee morning and later on in the evening we had take away Indian and Chinese meals. We then had a Chinese auction which was a lot of fun. We had a great time with Brian And Jan homer and Jim and Kath Brothwood who we sat with each evening. The stewards worked tirelessly to make sure everyone had a good time. To them I would like to say a very well done. You are a great advert for our club and it is a fantastic privilege to be president of this marvellous club. So I would love to wish everyone of our members a happy and prosperous new year and happy rallying in 2020 love to you all LRCCC .
