It is very rewarding being on the committee, being part of a great team and lets you put something back into the club. Being on the committee involves attending a meeting once a month (Tuesday evening) alternately at Solihull and Cradley and helping out on the bigger committee rallies. Secretary Role This is primarily minute taking at the committee meetings and typing them up. A dictaphone and laptop are supplied if required. This involves the youth rally and Christmas party as well as any other activities you might have in mind. Full support from the committee and all past booking information and planning will be made available to the youth officer. During the coronavirus restrictions we have been transferring or refunding all deposits on rallies if you were unable to attend. Now the government have announced all lifting of restrictions LRCCC will return to the normal policy of non-refunding or transferring of deposits. This will come into force at 00.01am on 19th July. If you cancel any rallies before this time then the deposits will be transferred or refunded. After this no deposits will be refunded or transferred under any circumstances.

Using ‘What3Words’ for directions to rallies Sometimes the postcode for a rally venue does not take you exactly to the entrance to the site, so we are considering adding ‘What3Words’ references to next year’s rally book. ‘What3Words’ has divided the world into 3m squares and given each square a unique combination of three words. By typing these three words into the ‘What3Words’ app you can be directed to the exact location, using among others, Google Maps. The unique reference for the next rally at Alveley this weekend is ‘opposing.compelled.crab’, which should take you to the entrance to the field. You can download the ‘What3Words’ app from you appropriate App Store free of charge or via the website If you do use this to navigate your way to Alveley then please give us your feedback to see if you think that it would be a good addition to the directions in the rally book and website to our rallies.

Yew Tree Farm, Bewdley July 9th - 11th. ( No Marshall’s to run rally)
Bromsberrow, Malvern September 17th-19th. (No Marshalls to run rally)
It is very sad that we have had to take this decision but without Marshall’s willing to help run our rallies, we had no other option.

Whitemead Forest Park 9th - 11th October 202

The park have notified us that the swimming pools and leisure facilities will not be open and that there will be no evening entertainment during the weekend of our rally. We know that most people book onto this weekend to enjoy the full facilities usually on offer at Whitemead and we feel that this rally no longer offers good value for the members while these restrictions are in place. Therefore following discussion, the committee have made the decision to cancel the rally. Anyone who is booked on will be contacted and arrangements made for either refunds or transfers of any money that has been paid. Please be patient as some committee are still away on holiday rallies and you will be contacted as soon as is practical. Thank you for your understanding.

Arrivals on Thursday from 3pm & on Friday from 10.30am.

If you wish to be sited close to your friends please arrive together. Only one space can saved. This is to enable the caravans to be sited at the correct spacing to conform to the social guidelines.

Hello everyone. Please read the following important information.
Clarification on guidelines for social gatherings on rallies.
Occupants from two caravans can socialise together on a single pitch. This may be extended to a third caravan up to a maximum of 6 persons. They must maintain 2m between each different caravan's occupants.
Significant social distance must remain between groups, so that two groups do not merge into one large group.
These guidelines must be followed to enable us to continue to host rallies. Any groups that do not follow these guidelines will be reminded of their responsibilities and asked to move to an acceptable social distance.
This is for the benefit of all members so please do not be offended if asked by a rally marshal or committee member to maintain these social guidelines.
Official Government guidelines can be found here (go to section 2)

LRCCC Covid-Secure Guidelines 23rd June 2020

Hi everyone. So after 4 months we have got the green light and we can enjoy being out in our caravans and motorhomes again from 4th July.

Obviously things will be different for a while which is why we have set out some guidelines to make rallying safe and comfortable for everyone.

Please take the time to read through these so that we all know what to expect when we arrive at the rally field.

We have a wide spectrum of members and some may wish to be more cautious than others during these first few weeks, so please be considerate to your fellow members and respect their space.

I'm confident that we can enjoy our weekends away again, even if they may be slightly different to what we have been used to for a while.

So please, read through the guidelines and we look forward to welcoming you on the rally field from 4th July onwards.

The LRCCC Committee are pleased to announce the resumption of 2020 rallies. Our first rally will be Top Barn Farm, Nr Worcester.
It will open at 10am Saturday 4th July and has been extended to Monday 6th July. You can attend 1 or 2 nights.

This rally will be a quiet weekend, there will be no organised social; coffee morning or youth activities.

The rally fee will be £9.50, plus £4 EHU (if available) plus £1 per night per person for non-unit members (over 18 years).

Payment of this rally will be by contactless card payment only. There are spaces available for this rally, please book online or send a slip to Andy Bunn. If you no longer wish to attend this rally please contact Andy Bunn ONLY by phone, email or FB. Or use the cancellation button on the website. Deposits will be transferred(preferred) or refunded.

LRCCC expect their members to show due respect for one another by following the LRCCC and government Covid-Secure guidance to keep everyone as safe as possible. These rules include maintaining appropriate social distancing from others who are not members of your household; washing hands regularly; use of disinfectant spray (provided) at water and elsan points. If you are unwell please do not attend the rally. No day visitor will be allowed, even if they are club members.

A full set of guidelines will be issued on the FB page, website and will be emailed to every member.

2021 Rallies

I am pleased to announce our rally program for 2021. I think we all need for good news and something to look forward to. We were so disappointed to have to cancel the Music Festival, so we have planned it again for 2021. We need your help to marshal the rallies. So if you would like to volunteer please speak to myself or Lee Sheldon. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Julie Derbyshire

I hope you are all keeping safe and well. The LRCCC committee have decided to cancel Alcester Food Festival rally. Deposits will be transferred to other rallies if applicable. Otherwise refunds will be made by Paypal. Refunds by cheque will take several weeks. I wanted to let you know that we are monitoring the current situation and will let you know as soon as any further decisions are made regarding future rallies. We now know we have to stay at home for a further few weeks but it is unclear at the moment what will happen after that. Whilst there is still a glimmer of hope that we can run future rallies, maybe whilst still respecting social distancing, we don't want to cancel too many rallies. Stay safe

THE LRCCC NEWS - 2020 Easter Newsletter
We hope that you are all keeping well and staying safe.
The latest LRCCC newsletter has now been published and can be viewed here or on our facebook page.
Stay safe everyone and we look forward to seeing you all soon.

The LRCCC Committee have decided to cancel all rallies up to and including Statfold Barn Railway. We feel as the current situation is not getting any better, we should cancel the following rallies

17th-19th April Norgren Social club, Shipston No deposits paid

24th-26th April, Buzzards Valley
No deposits paid

1st-3rd May, Rock Weekend, Shrewsbury

1st-10th May, Carrog
No deposits paid

7th-10th May, Statfold Barn Railway

All deposits paid will be transferred to rallies later in the year, where this is possible. It would help us if you are booked on any of these rallies if you could comment below so we know you have received the message. People who don't comment will be contacted during the week. A refund by Paypal or cheque will be issued if a transfer is not required. Refunds by cheque could take several weeks.

We will advise you as soon as we know if the Whitsun holidays at Pentewan & Hendra are going ahead. The balances for these holidays are due shortly, but we are asking you to not send the balance at the moment. We will ask for it closer to the time once we have some definite news.

Please transfer your deposits where possible as this is easier and less costly to the club. Refunds by cheque are difficult as we need 2 signatories on the cheques and Dave won't see anyone to get them signed in the foreseeable future.

This whole situation is very difficult for us all, but if all work together we will get through it as soon as possible.

Please keep safe everyone.

Following yesterday's Government announcement and advice from BLCCA, the LRCCC committee have made the hard decision to cancel the next four rallies,

We feel it is in the best interests of all our members to keep everyone safe and healthy. All deposits paid will be transferred to rallies later in the year, where this is possible. It would help us if you are booked on any of these rallies if you could let Julie Derbyshire know so we know you have received the message. People who don't let us know will be contacted during the week. A refund by Paypal or cheque will be issued if a transfer is not required. Refunds by cheque could take several weeks.
